Terms & Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Leven Miniatures.

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We normally send you an email confirmation that we have received and accept your order, and a further email when the goods have been despatched.

Images on this website may vary from the actual production model as we use 'work in progress' images, which may be updated as production of the model progresses. Though every care is taken to ensure the site is kept up to date, there may be times when the description of an item or image varies from the actual production model, and while we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and provided in good faith.

In the unlikely event that goods are no longer available or that we have made a pricing error, we will advise you of this.

This contract is covered by English Law.

Liability - The products sold on this website are designed for and primarily intended for 'wargaming' use and as such we cannot warrant their use for any other purpose.

While we are happy to provide advice about our models, please note it is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the item/s you are ordering is/are suitable for your needs.

By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms and conditions.

Ordering - You can use our website to place your order by selecting the product you require and adding it to your shopping cart. If you prefer to order by email simply send us a list of your requirements along with your name and shipping address and we will reply with a confirmation and send out a PayPal invoice.

Carriage charges are automatically calculated in your shopping cart and are based on current shipping costs to locations in the UK.

We will deliver your order to the address you specify on your order. In cases where a shipping address is not provided we will deliver the order to the address stored within the PayPal system.

Overseas Orders - For orders for delivery outside the UK, we suggest that you use the online shopping cart system. A further invoice may be sent to your email address for the excess shipping charge to your country.

Delivery - Goods will normally be despatched within 5 days of placing your order by first class Royal Mail services or in certain cases reputable national carrier. However, we cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred by any action taken by the Royal Mail, carrier services or any of their employees.

For shipping, we normally pack each building individually in bubble-wrap and try to ensure that the final packaging is strong enough for the purpose. But please note we cannot accept any liability for the manhandling of the postal service or any damage occurring because of postal service handling or inspection by customs and excise authoirities.

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel the order up to the expiry of seven working days after the date of receipt of the goods. Should you need to cancel the order during this period you should advise Leven Miniatures in writing by email to mrh@levenminiatures.co.uk.

You do not have to give a reason for cancellation, however a brief explanation will help us improve the service we offer.

It is normally policy not to accept returns unless the goods are 'defective' or have been incorrectly shipped. In these cases, please notify us at mrh@levenminiatures.co.uk within seven working days of receipt of the goods, whereupon we will arrange replacements.

If a shipment is returned to us due to incorrect postal information being supplied, we reserve the right to charge for the additional shipping to have the order re-posted, and we cannot be held responsible for any lost package that was incorrectly addressed based on the information you provide. If the package is returned to us due an error on our part, we will gladly re-post at our own cost.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights, for example if the goods are faulty or damaged.

Faulty or Damaged Goods - If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing detailing the problem. It is helpful if you can provide a digital photograph of the fault as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection, and we will deal with the matter in accordance to your legal rights.
